Russian designer turns Disney outfits into stunning haute couture! Disney animations are timeless classics loved by children and adults across the globe. We’ve seen quite a lot of Disney related items here on RocketNews24, both official and fanmade, but none of those look quite as fashionable as these drawings of Disney-inspired avant-garde runway fashion! Known as Sashii or Sashiiko online, Russian fashion design student Sasha (real name) has been creating these stunning catwalk interpretations of Disney characters since 2012. Complete with towering platform shoes of exaggerated proportions, the recreated outfits she designs are fashion focused while embodying characteristics of the original characters themselves.

Poe A friend gave me her parents' copy of this 1923 rarity to scan: Tales of Mystery and Imagination by Poe, illustrated by Harry Clarke (Ireland, 1889 - 1931). She remembers being fascinated and haunted by details like the killer's toes from The Tell-Tale Heart. Barbara Canepa est l'une des deux auteurs de la BD culte Sky Doll. C'est aussi la directrice de la sublime collection Métamorphose chez Soleil. Et elle a donné naissance, avec Anna Merli, à une bande dessinée magnifique, sortie en juin dernier, END, qui connaît un immense succès. Une édition spéciale de ce premier volume sort pour les fêtes : un très bel objet accompagné d'une enveloppe contenant une lettre et une photo, ainsi que quatre pages inédites.
À cette occasion, Barbara Canepa et Anna Merli ont eu la gentillesse de répondre à mes questions. Elisabeth, 13 ans, est morte. Enfin, peut-être... Tout ceci est bien mystérieux, j'en conviens....
