Vau-vau Borisa Kolara. Untitled. Don't miss a thing! Subscribe by email! Teach Beside Me Creative homeschool and education ideas for kids Learning the Alphabet- Alphabet Mat March 26, 2011 By Karyn Tripp When I was a kid, my Mom made an alphabet mat. I remember having lots of fun playing on it.

We use it to say the alphabet & march along it as we sing or chant it.We also like to use it with bean bags- we’ll say a letter & try to toss the bean bags to that letter. We spell out the kids names and they hop from letter to letter.I have a pack of alphabet flash cards that my daughter uses to match the cards with the letters on the mat. She’s also learning to match the lower case letter cards with the upper case letters on the mat.My older son likes to do his spelling words on it.

If you want to make, one it’s really easy. Here are the letter templates I used for the letters. You may also like - Rock N' Learn With Sight Words & a Giveaway! We have a file folder game box full of different learning activities that I have made for Butterfly, and the newest folder I have put together are Letter Mazes. We used more file folder games that reviewed the letters, including this Eric Carle caterpillar game, matching the lower case letter cards onto the upper case letters on the folder. This is a file folder game I put together where you can put the words in alphabetical order. Butterfly looked at the first letter of the word and matched it up to it's letter on the alphabetical chart.

I have a set of clothespins that I wrote letters on, both in upper and lower case. M is for milk lid | preschool daze. Preschool families and friends have been collecting milk lids for us. thank you! Since it is m week we’ve been sorting by color. we’ve noticed that in the tens of milk lids there are, there is only one brown lid. come on, let’s drink some chocolate milk! The next phase of this activity is arranging them into words, letter groups, abc order, etc. for some of our kids we explored spacing between letters. learning that when there is a “finger space” between letters that means they are different words. sometimes it was fun to do that on purpose. like a joke. hee hee hee. we noticed how many letters can become other letters simply by turning them. kevin can become keviz and can easily become kevin again! Keep bringing those milk lids…we have more projects in mind! Like this: Like Loading... Toddler Time: Busy Bag Exchange Part 3 ( & Freebie!) - Second Story Window.

Letter "Bb" Ceres Childcare & Preschool" Fowl Single File: Alphabet Projects. My child knows her alphabet and its many sounds, but she needs practice writing her letters - especially lower case. The problem is that it's not her favorite thing to practice, and I want to keep it fun and stress-free. Enter: these cute letter projects I found at Totally Tots. I use them to sweeten the deal. Five year old practices writing upper and lower case letters, then she gets to make a coordinating art project. Totally Tots did a series of "Now I Know My ABC's" posts a while back and they're a great resource for alphabet activities!
