I think with FB and Pearltrees (among many others), we should take what we like,, and can use, and leave the rest .All the while being careful only to make public the information we don't mind sharing. But used correctly, all aspects of the internet can be very benificial, and excellent learning tools. by May 25

You can use your drop zone to rearrange thing. Just drop an item or items there make whatever new parent tree or sub tree you like then put the items into those. L8trs by Jun 3

Thinkmap also has an application for 'item' visualizations. I.e. put in an actor, and it will tell you all the movies, directors, studios,they have been involved with. etc. Just an example.
Lots of better examples. I think this is, and has been a big sea change in the way people learn, and contribute. The computer is obviously why. It's wonderful. by May 31

I LOVE the Visual Thesaurus! This is an excellent example of how a site can be so benifitial! I'm trying my hand at short stroy writing, and it's priceless when I'm stuck for a word. Makes what I write so much more interesting. This is what Pearltrees is all about, exposing people to sites like this, that can literally (no pun intended) change their lives. It's changed mine. It and dozens of others.I'm a completely different person now then I was just 5 years ago because of the interent and it's vast stores of knowledge. by May 25
