Can the Nexus One sync with linux? - Android Help

There is no special linux syncing program for any android phone, as far as I know. The "Astro File Manager" android app allows you to backup your apps to the SD card. You can edit (including import/export) your contacts from the gmail web page.

Ok. I found that with just the standard USB cable you can transfer pictures/music/videos to and from the phone just like an external USB drive. by drone Feb 3

USB connection stopped working for one of my computers - Android

Device: Nexus One (firmware 2.1) Carrier: T-Mobile Country / Language: USA / English OS / Browser / build number (if applicable): Windows 7 x64 I was able to connect the Nexus One to my desktop computer and mount the phone as a USB mass storage device. Before I disconnected it I used the "eject" context menu option on the "PHONE" drive that came up in Windows Explorer. Now when I connect the phone to my computer I no longer get the USB icon on the notification panel that allows me to mount the phone.
