LMRF Encouraging Faith Convictions. As part of my effort to restructure this stage of my ministry life I am prayerfully refocusing this stage of my life. Over the past forty-four years of ministry Judie and I have - by God's grace - focused our lives on Church Planting committed to evangelism, discipleship, counseling and leadership training. At this stage I am trusting the Lord to transition us to a Church Planting committed to encouraging "faith convictions." In 'times like these' Judie and I are asking the Lord for the grace to be an encourager of "faith convictions" - especially among all those that the Lord has already brought into our lives and ministry. Life has stages, learning needs change and ministry applications need refocusing. My previous blogs, websites, and resources such as FORWARDS, MRF, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, the "Cape Church Planter's Journal" are all undergoing a major six month "remake" or change of direction ... From assorted commentaries, articles, lessons or even a 'prayer letter' to become more of an open forum for discussion and to serve the future as more of an oracle of Biblical encouragement. By using this new LMRF platform to encourage a more open communication regarding ministry I trust the Lord would be pleased to encourage many. Pray that we can all "receive one another" sufficiently ... that any spirit of self or selfishness will be set aside - to allow a good number of us to pursue a learning spirit. We know that unity requires a commitment to the Truth and our humble growth in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus our Lord is essential to maintaining this unity of the Spirit. Learning communication requires a degree of trust born in the spirit of love we enjoy in Christ and by His Word. Learning for a more focused Ministry of evangelism, a more soundly Resourced ministry of discipleship and a more communicative Forum for leadership in grace and truth seems more necessary than ever before ... a daily prayer request! I do believe that ....the LEARNING available through the blessings of the New Covenant leads to MINISTRY that enjoys the blessings of God and is increased by our disciplined research of Biblical RESOURCES especially when these Truths are shared with others in an open FORUM. By sharing sound Biblical insights we mutually grow in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. With a realistic attitude, an honesty regarding "context" and possibly a more historically accurate perspective discernment can effectively encourage the processes that build-up our "faith convictions before God" and lead us to live lives that truly edify others. [Romans 13:11-12; 14:16-23; 15:1-7, 13,14, 30-31; Ephesians 1:15-23; 2 Timothy 2:1-26; 3:1-12] Pray for me, please. Let us pray for one another that the "eyes of (our) heart may be enlightened" ... regarding the hope, glory, and power ... available to us in Christ - in this age and in the one to come! Your co-worker... Marc Sr. Cape Town

Creatividad. What is Visual Thinking? I recently came across a blog post from the Visual Leap that I wanted to share with everybody.

What is Visual Thinking?

Visual thinking, aka. visual learning, is a proven method of organizing ideas graphically. As we’ve previously mentioned the brain is predisposed to remembering images, so why not take advantage of this? Visual thinking is a learning strategy in which concepts, ideas, data and other information are associated with images. Visual Thinking. The Cape Journal - Getting to know us better...
