The Internet Pinball Machine Database

http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl The Internet Pinball Machine Database — also known as the IPD or IPDB — is a comprehensive, searchable listing of virtually every pinball machine ever commercially made. It is an ad free, popup free, registration free resource. We do not buy or sell games. The database is constantly expanding, but currently includes 49,720 images of 5,437 games and 3,777 other game related files, as well as links to other pinball websites, all arranged by machine. The database also includes pitch & bat baseball games, cocktail table machines, bingos, and payout machines, when they have a pinball theme. It may also include information on some obscure games that are not pinball machines but sometimes are confused as them.
"...the battle that raged to save the pinball industry couldn't have been more passionate or exciting... TILT is easily the most important documentary on the history of gaming to date." THE SITUATION facing the pinball designers at Williams Electronic Games in 1998: come up with something new, or see the world's largest pinball manufacturer be shut down forever.

TILT: The Battle to Save Pinball

It is the sworn duty of every knight to seek out evil, defeat it, and take its stuff. One such knight is Max, whose enthusiasm for combat is surpassed only by his love of rare and valuable loot. Join Max as he battles hordes of evil (or just evil-looking) monsters, rescues a wealthy princess, and accumulates the loot and XP that make good deeds worth doing. If Max suffers a defeat, never fear! He will return in the next game with all of his hard-won loot and experience levels intact. http://www.pinballfx.com/

Pinball FX2™

Pinball Gold Pack - GOG.com

Despite the fact that I have been playing this game for about the last decade, it still remains my favorite pinball game ever. The reason for that is simple - it is a near-perfect simulation of an actual pinball table, with an abundance of modes and interactive features, and it is incredibly fun to play. And, niche gaming genre or not, in all the years that have followed this read more release, I have never come across another pinball simulation that could quite measure up. Basically, this is as close as you're going to get to a real pinball table without actually owning one. With a fully customizable table slope, maintenance level, and a full-features operator's menu with detailed, per-feature difficulty settings and statistics, you can pretty much customize the game to play exactly how you want it. And, of course, it wouldn't be a Pro Pinball game without a bit of a plot driving the pinball gameplay. http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/pro_pinball_big_race_usa

An excellent pinball game, second only to BRUSA Posted on 2009-05-01 20:26:19 by somedude: Fantastic Journey is the fourth game in the Pro Pinball series, which, in my mind, are the best pinball simulations available to date. http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/pro_pinball_fantastic_journey

Brings you full 3D pinball table on screen with a specially recorded soundtrack by Bruce Foxton and Jake Burns of Stiff Little Fingers. This is the most complex, rewarding, frustrating and entertaining experience ever.
This news pages hasn't been keeping up with the news; for all your Visual Pinball news needs, you should defer to http://www.vpforums.com . Sorry for the confusion! If you have installed Windows XP SP2, you may have noticed that when exiting a table and going back to the editor, VP crashes. I am working on a fix for this which should be testable soon. For the people with graphics display problems, or if it seems that tables just don't play after they've been rendered, there is a really good chance you have an nvidia card with 40.72 drivers, which contain a bug. I personally went back a few driver versions, other people may have other solutions.

Welcome to PINMAME

Thank you all for your emails of concern about me. For those that didn't know, my wife and I live a mere 25 minutes from the scene of today's unbelievable tragedies.. Thankfully everyone in my family is ok, including my dad who was at work a mere 10 blocks away, and who witnessed everything from his office window. What still concerns is me is the several friends that I have who work in the now destroyed world trade center building.
