Empty Room Studios Publishing. Dungeon & Dragon Articles. D&D Miniatures: Maps & Terrain Tiles. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
The terrain tiles for your D&D Miniatures skirmishes shift around for each game but it's always nice to have even more variety. All the terrain tiles and alternate maps that are available online are collected on this page, for your convenience. Check back here for updates as new tiles and maps become available. Tiles will hold up better if you print them on cardstock rather than paper. If you don't have blank cardstock at home, you can have them printed at your local quick-print shop. Organized Play Tiles These tiles were originally created for D&D Miniatures organized play and distributed in retailer kits as part of the D&D Campaigns program. Adventure Maps These maps were created (often from Map-A-Week maps) for specific, short adventures or random dungeons using D&D Miniatures. PDF Dungeon Tiles. Saving Dungeon Designer is a Flash based application. My warhammer quest 3D Dungeon (WarSeer forum) For those of you that aren't familiar with quest, it is a game where each player controlls one warrior and together they need to battle their way through the dark dungeons of the warhammer world in order to find the rich treasures hidden there.
Now in the basic set of the game, which unfortunately is OOP, you'll find a number of cardboard floorplans to resemble the dungeon. These are very nice works of art, but I wanted to do better than that and build my own 3D dungeon.I basically did most of the floorplans from the basic set and a few of the expansions, but I haven't finished all of them yet.
I used MDF to work on as it is solid and you can easily cut it to the size you want your room or corridor to be. I then used very thin cardboard (regiment boxes work do fine) and cut out the tiles with all the cracks and stuff. I glued the tiles to the MDF and put some textured paint on it.
