Flying Drones Broadcast Fendi’s Runway Show To Fans Back Home

The drones are fitted with high-definition cameras and will fly over and around the catwalk to capture aerial shots of the runway show. The show will be broadcast live on the brand’s website. To gain access to the live show, fans only need to visit Fendi’s website and sign up to be notified when the show starts. Viewers can choose between a “main” view and aerial shots of the show. Viewers can also take snapshots of the show. Fendi President and CEO Pietro Beccari said, We are enthusiastic to be the first using this technology on the catwalk which will allow us, once again, to be pioneers in our field and projected towards the future. The live broadcast begins at 12:30 PM (GMT+1), February 20th. U.K. Street Artist INSA Creates A Work Of GIF-fiti For Dwyane Wade's New Shoe.

Graffiti murals are striking in how the bright colors and strong lines of the art form fill an unused and generally lifeless space.

But the art itself is not typically associated with the moving arts. A new project supporting the launch of Dwyane Wade’s new Li-Ning sneaker changes that perception. For the launch of the Miami Heat point guard’s limited edition Way of Wade 2.0: Overtown shoe, British street artist INSA was commissioned to create a mural. But creating the mural was merely the first step: INSA recreated his black, white, and red rendering of Way of Wade’s tagline, “Make Your Own Way,” several times so that he could create a GIF version of his graffiti. Located in the Art District of Miami, and coinciding with the start of Art Basel in Miami, the 30-by-20-foot mural was completed in four days. Box. 48 Hours in Byron Bay

No sooner had I landed in Gold Coast in Queensland after a sleepless night on the plane, was I whisked off on a whirlwind tour of beautiful rivers teeming with fish, sandy beaches with perfect surfing conditions and lively farmers markets offering a feast for all senses – and a glimpse of the outdoor life that Byron Bay offers. A rather intense glimpse, as it should turn out. Not your ordinary tour guideTaking an overnight flight only ever seems a good idea on paper and after hours of watching strangers in thongs sleep (that’s flip flops for all of you non-Australians in case you wondered about the state of travel attire in Oz) I arrived in my usual slightly detached and bleary-eyed “another day, another airport” condition. All that is gone and forgotten the moment I locate Ben: not only does he greet me bearing coffee (instant brownie points!) Blue eyes-Rooney Mara.... New Comic The Inventor Electrifies Nikola Tesla's Mad Genius

“Tesla’s true story is more surreal than any fictional account I’ve seen of him,” said writer Rave Mehta, whose Tesla biocomic, previewed in the gallery above, debuts at publisher Arcana’s booth this week at Comic-Con International. “The Inventor: The Story of Tesla is based on Tesla’s journey, from his epic birth in a lightning storm to his arrival in America, where his greatest mentor, Thomas Edison, turns into his greatest adversary and starts the War of Currents.”
