Introduction. ScratchScience. Scratch is the multimedia authoring tool for kids developed by the MIT Media Lab. This tool allows people to easily create animations, interactive stories, games, simulations and other programs. This tool can be a great way to learn science. Teachers can create visualizations and animations for students to play with or students can create their own activities learning math and science in the process. Most importantly students are beginning to develop computational thinking skills - a vital tool in today's digital world.
