Mod a Cute Halter from a Crew Neck T Shirt

http://www.instructables.com/id/Mod-a-Cute-Halter-from-a-Crew-Neck-T-Shirt/ My guy gifted me this hand-painted T shirt from recent travels with the inherent challenge - that I make it wearable. Follow these instructions and you can turn any ill-fitting souvenir T into a cute slouchy halter top you'll wear all summer. You'll need thread, a sewing machine with at least zig-zag, an overlock is better, 1/4 yard of contrasting knit fabric or another T shirt of complimentary color, a large safety pin, the usual scissors and pins, and a dress form or warm body to fit.

http://www.instructables.com/id/Stylish-Ways-to-cut-your-T-shirt-T-shirt-hacks-co/ In this short but sweet instructable, I'll show you how you can cut up the sides of your t-shirts to make them stylish and cool. Alot of people at my school do this to their t-shirts that they buy for fund raisers or events that the school is holding, and I thought it'd be cool as a short instructable. This is a no sew project, So all you need is a desired T-shirt, and a pair of scissors. There are two different ways in which I have seen these cuts executed at my school.

Stylish Ways to cut your T-shirt (T-shirt hacks contest)

http://jonag.typepad.com/stop_staring_and_start_se/2009/06/tshirt-twist.html I'm still on my quest for the perfect t-shirt but today I decided to take a totally blah shirt and see if I could make it a little interesting. I really like this color but the shape was so bland I rarely wore this shirt (and certainly not when I wanted to feel cute). This is just a cheap Walmart shirt (Faded Glory) that probably cost 3.00 so no harm in trying. I started by cutting off the hems on the sleeves and at the bottom. Then I cut another 1" inch strip off of the bottom to "re-purpose" elsewhere. Oh, and I cut off the neck band and squared the neck opening.
