Grow a New Eye by Tanya Marie Vlach
Thanks for visiting my page! I am attempting to recreate my eye with the help of a miniature camera implant in my prosthetic / artificial eye. The intraocular installation of an eye-cam will substitute for the field of vision of my left eye that I lost in 2005 from a car accident.
4 21 polytope
In 8-dimensional geometry , the 4 21 is a semiregular uniform 8-polytope , constructed within the symmetry of the E 8 group. It was discovered by Thorold Gosset , published in his 1900 paper. He called it an 8-ic semi-regular figure . [ 1 ] Coxeter named it 4 21 by its bifurcating Coxeter-Dynkin diagram , with a single ring on the end of the 4-node sequences, The rectified 4 21 is constructed by points at the mid-edges of the 4 21 .

NEWS NEWS NEWS Le CNRS achève un cycle de conférences sur les sciences cognitives consacré au célèbre biologiste Francisco Varela, qui a terminé sa carrière à Paris, dans le centre de neurobiologie de la Pitié-Salpétrière. Il est disparu prématurément en mai 2001. Francisco Varela a developpé le concept d'"enaction" dans les sciences cognitives, qui propose un modèle de l'esprit fonctionnant comme un ensemble d'organisme vivants - et non comme un ordinateur pleins de "mémoires", de "programmes", disposant d'un disque dur central : la conscience . Ses recherches ont donné naissance à un nouveau courant de recherche dans les sciences cognitives et l'intelligence artificielle. Francisco Varela s'est aussi fait connaître pour son intérêt pour le bouddhisme, que ce soit par sa pratique prolongée de la méditation, et ses réflexions sur la théorie de la connaissance selon le bouddhisme.
