I got my Eee today, and was really itching to put mythtv on it. Mythtv, is my own personal linux killer app. it's what made linux my "everyday" OS So, my housemate has a Mythtv Server, which is connected to the network. This, makes this task much, much easier. there are also howtos elsewhere which can show you how to do it. I'm also not sure if an eee is really powerful enough to be the server, or ideal for the task at all. Because there's already a server on the network, all I needed was the mythfrontend, but there was a few complications.
