I have determined that in order for the Democrats to win the south, the average level of education among the various Southern states must be raised to a higher level. Most of the south is uneducated. In fact, the south has the highest illiteracy rate in the country. The southern culture is such that their lack of education is celebrated. There are places within the south that those with college education are considered to be snobbish and elitist.
