Nonprofit News - Careers: Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Announces 2011 National Award Winners. The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance presented its 2011 National Awards during their recent annual Management/Leadership Institute attended by more than 800 participants. For years, the organization has recognized excellence in nonprofit workforce preparation, as well as the professionals and organizations that support the next generation of nonprofit sector leaders. The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance is the only national alliance of colleges, universities and nonprofit organizations dedicated to educating, preparing and certifying professionals to strengthen and lead nonprofit organizations.

The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance was proud to present five national awards this year: • Program Excellence Award, sponsored by The Sprint Foundation, the Alliance's most prestigious campus award given to a campus program that exemplifies overall best practices in student recruitment, internship placement, marketing and certifications. Mellon Auditorium in Washington D.C. on June 3, 2013. During this black tie ceremony, honorees are presented with a medallion inscribed with the Program's mission, "A Search for New Heroes. " Additional recognition is given to five Laureates in each category who, selected by Program Judges to represent outstanding innovation, become Finalists for the 21st Century Achievement Award.
