Here's a brand new, extra magical hair how-to by Katie of Skunkboy . 1.Start with a dramatic side part. 2. Separate a small section of hair on the side. This will be the beginning of your braid. 3.Taking that section, separate it into two smaller sections. 4. Using a fishtail braid method , begin braiding. 5. Continue the french braid until you reach behind the ear. Then finish your braid all the way down using the regular fishtail method. 6. http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/11/how-to-style-a-side-braid.html

Hair Bow Inspiration - StumbleUpon

Besides pink clothes, bows are probably the most common way to make sure baby girls aren’t mistaken as boys. Girlie, youthful, and playful, the ultra-feminine tie can also be a creative way to add a dash of dainty to your hair look. Make the classic accessory fit your ladylike style with new DIY effects that work for the everyday. Take your half-updo to the next level and create a bow out of your mane itself! Lady Gaga and Lauren Conrad are just two celebrities who have rocked versions of this whimsical look. http://www.beautylish.com/a/vpqwn/hair-bows
From now on, when we have a beauty issue, we’ll look in the cabinets – first – before we run out and buy an expensive (or even bargain) product to fix us. And, I know, I know … there’s just something a little bit comforting about picking up a bottle of FancySchmancy-Make-You-Fabulous Potion; there’s some weird satisfaction in forking over your hard-earned money to feel hot. But there’s a new and better feeling from fixing it yourself — by rummaging through your kitchen. (Put down the donuts. They do not belong on your hair.) And don’t get me wrong, sometimes it’s easier or less time consuming to snag a product from the shelf. http://www.crunchybetty.com/5-foods-you-have-in-your-kitchen-that-should-be-in-your-hair

...love Maegan: * Partial French Braid &Cascading Hair Tutorial *also... - StumbleUpon

http://www.lovemaegan.com/2011/05/partial-french-braid-cascading-hair.html I'm not the originator of this hair style but I've gotten so many requests for it, I thought I'd give it a go for you. I don't know what it's called either so I haven't researched it and/or found any other tutorials for it ...thus, this is my version of it, and I've dubbed it the Partial French Braid w/ Cascading Hair. The photos I've seen online show the braid a little more straight across the back of the head and mine sort of braids at an angle, similar to my side/low french braid up-do .
