Year: 2010 Tron Legacy permalink I spent a half year writing software art to generate special effects for Tron Legacy, working at Digital Domain with Bradley "GMUNK" Munkowitz, Jake Sargeant, and David "dlew" Lewandowski. This page has taken a long time to be published because I've had to await clearance. A lot of my team's work was done using Adobe software and Cinema 4D. http://jtnimoy.net/workviewer.php?q=178

Each pair of Buratto sunglasses is characterized by a 30x8 mm section of raw material on the right arm that is not subjected to a finishing process known in Italy as burattatura that is employed to remove burrs and surface flaws. This kind of prevention keeps intentionally the “roughness” of the fragment and evokes the process of burattaura that makes glasses appear sleeky and shiny. ∞ THE FINISHING PROCESS IS UP TO YOU ∞ Last but not least, the brand new case, guarantees the exposure of the raw fragment to frictions so that the process of burattatura can keep going on in everyday life. Se be ready… because the finishing process of this pair of glasses is up to you.
