Photos. Home / Joseph Loughborough. Help at our medieval moated castle in France! We are renovating a small medieval moated castle, last year was our first full year , We had a total of 32 helpers from all around the world, we got lots done and had some great laughs and good times.
Our Veggie garden is now in its 2nd year, we had some fantastic results last year, we also intend to increase our flock of chickens and our two pigs have arrived, bacon and sausage. We provide meals and accommodation in return for 25hrs per week (usually 5hrs per day Monday to Friday) Accommodation at the moment is limited to camping or we have 4 caravans, all caravans have electricity and we have on-site WiFi. We will also be putting a recreation room in the barn with an internet point for those who don't have a laptop. You can come for anything from one week to several months.
