A little more than 10 years ago I left Washington, DC my hometown. I had never lived anywhere else. I took a leap of faith moving to the Bay area. My intention was to sing as much as I could and to express my gift more fully. I wanted to know myself in a deeper way and for me music was the key on many levels. My musical journey has led me to many wonderful experiences as a singer, tapping into my core.

An active member of the San Francisco songwriting and arts community, Deborah frequently collaborates in the studio and onstage. Songs she wrote with Alex Walsh for the 2009 RPM challenged became the Crooks/Walsh Blues EP, after which she toured the Northwest as part “Indie Abundance™ Music, Money & Mindfulness” a campaign she co-founded with two other Bay Area artists, and followed up with The Great Idea Tour of the Southwest in March 2010. She’s also co-hosted the local chapter of Songsalive!, participates in the ongoing Bay Area Song Collective and co-writes with many other artists.
Ten Ton Feather CD release at the Freight with Rick and Aireene
We weren't able to put together a CD release party last November due to logistical reasons, then we went to Patagonia, so we haven't gotten the chance to celebrate this new CD with you. Since we've been back, Rick and I have been busy sending this little baby to radio stations and reviewers.
