2011 World Airport Awards | the Passengers Choice. Top 10 restaurants in Las Vegas. Counter dining is chic at L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It made the top 10 in the 'Eating Las Vegas' guide. By Francis George, MGM Grand The recently published Eating Las Vegas: The 50 Essential Restaurants, an opinionated guide to Sin City eateries, has a great premise. Bring together three of the town's restaurant critics and have them dish about where to dine. There's much disagreement on the pages of the book (Huntington Press, $12.95, visit its shopping area with Vegas books galore, also currently available at amazon.com for $10.36) but here are the top 10 restaurants according to critics John Curtas, Max Jacobson and Al Mancini.

Note that the Top 10 list is in alphabetical order, since the three couldn't agree, and that you'd better start saving now to visit most. *ALEX at Wynn Las Vegas (It just closed, but chef Alex Stratta still has a more casual eatery, Stratta, at Wynn.) *BARMASA at ARIA (Chef Masa Takayama, Japanese) 10 best vacation destinations in Europe. Tenth place – Protaras (Cyprus) – Resort for romantics. It is synonymous with fine golden sand and rocky coves of Mediterranean Sea, which in these parts of saturated turquoise.

The most famous beach resort – Fig Tree Bay. Cape Greco is not to impress divers for its sea caves and picturesque villages with binding windmills will please romantics. Ninth place – Albufeira (Portugal) – boasts a mild climate and good food. Eighth place – Fuerteventura (Spain) – A place for lovers of good and quiet beach holiday. Seventh place – Sitges (Spain) – known throughout Europe, a gay resort. Sixth place – Lagos (Portugal) – an ideal place for family holidays. Fifth place – Formentera (Spain) – a resort for those who love silence, peace and solitude. Fourth place – Dalyan (Turkey) – located at the confluence of Dalyan in the Aegean Sea. Third place – Ayia Napa (Cyprus) – a resort for those who like to relax noisy.
