Transformers: Age Of Extinction Is Already China's Biggest Film Of All-Time. Avatar Sequels Officially Add Sam Worthington And Zoe Saldana. Legendary Entertainment Joining Forces With NBCUniversal After Warner Bros. Split. With Legendary Entertainment ending their eight-year-long deal with Warner Bros. two weeks ago, it was only a matter of time before they found another one of the major studios to partner up with, and today they've apparently secured their deal. Variety is reporting that the Thomas Tull-run studio has signed a deal with NBCUniversal that will be made official on Wednesday, July 10th. At this time there aren't any official details available about the deal itself, though according to the trade's insiders it's a contract quite similar to the one that Legendary had with WB, the studio serving as a co-financier.

When we learned back in June that Legendary and Warners would be splitting ways, NBCUniversal was rumored to be the top choice along with Sony (the new story suggests that 20th Century Fox and Lionsgate were both in the running as well). Even at the time it was said that Universal had the edge thanks to its solid establishment in the television world.

Compiling a list of the 100 Greatest Movie Moments may be the most difficult and divisive feature we've ever tackled here at IGN. Everyone has their personal favourites, with no two the same it would seem. We therefore laboured long and hard over the hot one-hundred, casting our net far and wide to craft a list that encompasses the very best that cinema has to offer. You'll therefore find black-and-white classics rubbing shoulders with modern-day blockbusters, with shocking horror moments wedged between action sequences and song-and-dance numbers.

Nothing was too small or insignificant to make the list - what mattered was that it meant something to movie fans, each moment echoing through the celluloid ages. At times picking the film was the easy part, the real trouble coming when we tried to narrow it down to one sequence or scene. With 2010 coming to a close, and the imminent arrival of an entirely fresh, unexplored, and unpredictable decade of cinema, what better time to start bombarding you with top ten lists of past highlights? We’ve done top ten posters, top ten trailers and top ten Christmas movies (and an alternate Christmas list for those who disagreed with the first). This time: scores and soundtracks.

There is a distinction between the two, but it’s murky, and as more and more films are using a mix of both original scores and pre-existing tracks, who are we to try to keep them separate? One thing I noticed whilst piecing together this list, is that aside from fantastic music, these are ten great movies that could easily warrant places on a top films of the decade list.
