By Stéfan: Our crowdsourcing conversation is upside down, much like how Calculon is holding these stormtroopers upside down. Some fantastic work is going on in crowdsourcing the transcription of cultural heritage collections. After some recent thinking and conversation on these projects I want to more strongly and forcefully push a point about this work. This is the same line of thinking I started nearly a year ago in Meaningification and Crowdscafolding: Forget Badges.
