Using 'Contextual Frameworks', our proposal was granted planning as submitter - following three failed attempts by others. We made a non viable site viable by providing a four storey solution in a two storey residential area. Using out methodology we maximised the potential of highly constrained site and overcame 28 reasons for refusal with commendation from the appeal inspector. We reshaped local planning policy by convincing planners to extend the local policy limit by an additional floor. Approach We use a Design Matrix to cross-reference information and provide clients with an objective and parameter driven design process.
The parametric nature of our approach allows for easy adaptation to BIM and Modern Methods of Construction, achieving cost savings well beyond standard value engineering techniques.
