The Sketchbook Project: Limited Edition

The Sketchbook Project is a crowd-sourced library of over 30,000 sketchbooks (and counting) submitted by people of all ages and backgrounds from more than 135 countries. Anyone can add their voice to the collection by signing up to fill a Sketchbook Project book of their own to submit. The entire project is on view to the public as a permanent collection at Brooklyn Art Library, our storefront exhibition space in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. What if I don’t sketch? We use ‘sketchbook’ as loose term for experimentation in creativity.

What is Digitizing? Select digitizing, and your completed book will be professionally photographed and uploaded for you to The Sketchbook Project’s online Digital Library. What are themes? What do you mean by tour? Every year we take to the road with all of the new Sketchbook Project submissions. Congrats! Yes. Socrates Sculpture Park. Specifically, Socrates is seeking proposals that respond to the complexities of park’s unique history and location as a waterfront in an urban environment, either through a conceptual or formal relationship. EAF recipients will receive a $5,000 production grant to support their project, as well as a four-month studio residency that includes 24/7 access to the resources and fabrication facilities of the park’s outdoor studio. The completed work will become part of a public exhibition, opening in early September 2014. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. The Pollock-Krasner Foundation. The Pollock-Krasner Foundation, Inc.

Recipients who reapply must have either circumstances so changed as to warrant further support or have a genuine emergency situation. How to Apply Artists are required to submit a cover letter, an application, a current resume including an exhibition record, and ten digital images of current work with a corresponding identification list.

All applications will be promptly acknowledged and considered. Please do not send application forms by fax or e-mail. A crucial part of the application process is based on the Committee of Selection’s review of each artist’s images. Thomas, PAC Mural Street Art Program Sub-committee Chair at 607-273-5242 Sally Grubb, PAC Mural Street Art Project Sub-committee Member at 607-279-9189 The City of Ithaca Public Art Commission (PAC) seeks proposals from artists or organizations for site-specific murals that will become part of the city-wide public art mural initiative. The theme is open, but proposed installations should be thoughtful of the community in which they are being placed. Our goal is to build an inventory of potential murals that are pre-approved for creation subject to the provision of funding through grants, private donations, and community fund-raising.
