Test av ZTE Blade (Orange San Francisco) Introduktion Blade, mer känd som Orange San Francisco, är den kinesiska tillverkaren ZTE:s första androidmobil i Europa och lanseras (till en början) exklusivt hos operatören Orange UK. Blade kan ur ett kostnadsperspektiv närmast beskrivas som en instegsmodell i androidvärlden då prisnivån med kontantkort ligger på 99 brittiska pund, vilket motsvarar cirka 1100 kronor med dagens växelkurs. Prisnivån till trots så har ZTE lyckats med konststycket att klämma in en hel del minst sagt imponerande hårdvara.
Vad sägs exempelvis om en kapacitiv AMOLED-skärm på 3.5″ med WVGA-upplösning (480×800 pixlar), multitouch, 512 MB RAM, ljussensor, närhetssensor, GPS, kompass samt SoC-plattformen MSM7227 med en processor i 600 MHz och samma grafikkrets som i Google Nexus One? Vidare kommer telefonen bestyckad med Android 2.1/Eclair (2.2/FroYo på väg, enligt rykten) och full tillgång till Google-apparna – GTalk undantaget (mer om detta senare).
