Honored to have the Vincci Bit Mega Mural I painted in Barcelona in February featured in the new issue of Casas&Más (Mexico). Also my friends at Mikosa (Amsterdam) put together a spectacular archive book showcasing art from dozens of featured artists over the years. My B/W B:4 Series is in there alongside many contemporary heros of mine. Grab a copy .
What a treat to have fellow swiss, Lars Müller , speak at one of the wonderful AIGA Small Talks here in NYC. Lars Müller is a well respected figure in the graphic design, architecture and photography publishing world. You might know or own the infamous Helvetica: Homage to a Typeface Book, which is definitely one of my favorites. Michael Bierut introduced Lars Müller, pointing out how impressed he is by the fact that even though Müller is mostly his own client, he doesn't become self-indulgent but manages to stay focused and maintain a very straight-forward, objective design sense. http://swissmiss.typepad.com/weblog/designers_i_like/index.html

Paper Forest

It's that time of year, when we can share what we came up with for the holiday season's greeting. This year, I wanted to make a mini-advent calendar, just the last five days of December mind you. I'd have to have started in May to get a 100 of a full 25-day advent cards made. As it was I was starting even later than usual. And even though I strove to keep the design as simple as possible, I admit the cards whupped me. I was injured, unwell, exhausted, and cold, still struggling at 5am to get a stack of 50 cards out into the mail on the last possible day when an angel appeared. http://paperforest.blogspot.com/
