Mind Control 101

Scientists have revealed one of the reasons why some folks are less religious than others: They think more analytically, rather than going with their gut. And thinking analytically can cause religious belief to wane — for skeptics and true believers alike. The study, published in Friday's edition of the journal Science, indicates that belief may be a more malleable feature of the human psyche than those of strong faith may think. The cognitive origins of belief — and disbelief — traditionally haven't been explored with academic rigor, said lead author Will Gervais, a social psychologist at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. "There's been a long-standing intellectual tradition of treating science as one thing and religion as separate, and never the twain shall meet," he said. But in recent years, he added, there has been a push "to understand religion and why our species has the capacity for religion."
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is designed to program into people’s mind the right perspective in order to achieve fuller life. Not only does it start your life into a new one but it also contributes in helping you to feel better. http://empiricalcoaching.com/blog/procrastination/whos-world-are-you-living-in/ Over the last year I’ve been on quite a personal journey of personal development and growth, but while I’ve been away I have continued to receive requests from people who read the daily action tips, people who used to read the blog, or people who enjoyed my old YouTube videos. They have all asked for more of the videos. So I have decided to empty out the “computer loft”, and share some of my earlier work for you to enjoy. This first video covers some of the basics of NLP.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming : Neuro-Linguistic Programming , NLP is the most advanced type of hypnosis and should only be done by a trained hypnotherapist. NLP is used to treat severe weight problem or addiction with the programming of the brain. A therapist who is trained to use the NLP will use hypnosis to separate the two activities so that you can minumi cup of coffee without thinking to have a cigarette . Neuro-Linguistic Programming : Neuro-Linguistic Programming, The easiest way to explain how NLP produces such amazing results is that it is a simple, straightforward approach to communication and personal development. http://www.uptodays.com/neuro-linguistic-programming-nlp-339.html

Towards Encoding Background Knowledge with Temporal Extent into Neural Networks - SpringerLink Home - Natural Language Processing (NLP) News

http://nlp.hivefire.com/articles/16150/towards-encoding-background-knowledge-with-tempora/ Neuro-symbolic integration merges background knowledge and neural networks to provide a more effective learning system. It uses the Core Method as a means to encode rules. However, this method has several drawbacks in dealing with rules that have temporal extent. First, it demands some interface with the world which buffers the input patterns so they can be represented all at once. This imposes a rigid limit on the duration of patterns and further suggests that all input vectors be the same length. These are troublesome in domains where one would like comparable representations for patterns that are of variable length ...
We have all heard about Pavlov – the guy who found that he could condition dogs to drool by merely ringing a bell. The dogs were conditioned to associate the ringing of the bell with food. In NLP we call what Pavlov did anchoring.

The main question most people are asking is: Does hypnosis really work? Hypnosis and hypnotherapy does work, but it isn’t the answer for everything. In hypnosis you will remain aware of what you are doing and you will not do anything under hypnosis that you wouldn’t do in a normal waking state. So rest easy and forget about such notions. NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) has been around for some time now. But many people still have no idea just what it is or what it can do for them.
“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” - Mark Twain You see whether you realise it or not goals are a fundamental part of achieving excellence at sport. The two choices you have is either you carry on leaving things to chance in your event or sport or you take control of your participation performing in are way that brings you fulfilment, purpose and achievement. I guess with setting goals comes the fear of not achieving them, which is understandable, imagine setting these awesome goals only to fall flat on your face and not achieve them, what then.

Do you ever have problems you find particularly difficult to solve? Pehaps you even have one or two problems you've been working on for years that are still ongoing? It's particularly frustrating because you want to change, you want to know how to change, you make attempts to change but your efforts don't get you anywhere other than back to the starting point. If you listen to people talk, you can hear it in their language - "I'm going round in circles", "I just keep on banging my head against a brick wall", "I take one step forward and two steps back the whole time".

16th September I was interested to read an article recently by Barbara Hufferman about the value of olive oil for mid-life women. It helps in many ways when everything is getting a little dryer...for example skin, eyes and other places, too! Olive oil has been used for thousands of years in Mediterranean cultures. Ancient Greeks knew of its power to heal wounds, and eventually they used it to light oil lamps, for cooking, and for beauty. Here are some of the reasons why olive oil is the "liquid gold" we should all have in our kitchens, bathrooms and medicine chests:
