If you have processed cheese laying around, you should definitely make this. (I know, I know--I'm supposed to be into healthier cooking and Velveeta is not considered good for you. But we all need a little processed cheese in our lives.
(Roasted Garlic & Parmesan Beer Cheese Dip) There are a few ingredients that I have to restrain myself from adding to everything I make. On that list are the following: Sriracha, bacon, goat cheese and roasted garlic. As you can clearly discern, beer is not in that line-up. Because I never try to hold back the urge to add beer.
S’mores Dip If you’ve ever longed for a s’more but didn’t have a campfire handy, I’ve found a great solution. The milk chocolate and marshmallow are right there in a nice little bowl, just waiting to be loaded onto graham crackers. No fuss, no mosquito bites, and you can eat them sitting on the couch.
This dip makes the best appetizer. This warm, creamy, cheesy dip works great at holiday events while people are waiting for the meal to be prepared. I made it for Thanksgiving this year and it was a hit! In fact, I think it was gone before I even got to try it….and no one even knew it was light! I love to make this dip because it’s tasty, easy to prepare, and a light way to start off a meal (which is always good because it helps you not to over-indulge once you get your food). You can assemble it up to two days ahead and bake it just before serving.
2 large avocados 1 cup raw almonds 2 cups garbanzo beans 1 cup Greek yogurt 3 garlic cloves, crushed
This recipe came about because of a little miscommunication in my house. You see, the other day I asked Ryan what he would like me to serve with the taquitos I was making for dinner. I heard Bean and Cheese Dip. I was a little surprised because in ten years he has never really mentioned that he likes bean and cheese dip.
I love going to potluck parties, mostly because the food items that people bring are usually appetizers and I just love all kinds of appetizers. I especially love dips, french onion dip, clam dip, spinach dip, artichoke dip, and seven layer dip, oh I am hungry just thinking about them! When I was recently invited to a party and was asked to bring something, seven layer dip was the first thought that came to my mind.
Football season is back. I can’t say that I’m all that excited to watch the games, however, as I have mentioned before, I am quite excited for football season because it means football food . It mean’s chicken wings , guacamole , chips and potato skins . And it means that I get to cook all of this food and share it with family and friends which is my favorite part. Although eating it, especially when it is as good as this dip, isn’t half bad either. I got this idea from a friend who always makes a black bean dip for her parties.
