Selon un sondage réalisé pour le compte de la Banque de Montréal, seulement six entrepreneurs sur 10 (59%) estiment que leur entreprise vaut plus cher qu'il y a cinq ans. L'augmentation moyenne de la valeur de ces entreprises est estimée à 39%. Le même sondage révèle que le sentiment de défi et de réalisation que leur procure leur entreprise est ce qui compte le plus aux yeux de 24% des entrepreneurs.

Un pourcentage à peine plus faible, soit 23%, apprécie le revenu que leur entreprise leur permet d'obtenir et l'héritage qu'ils pourront laisser à leur famille. Enfin, environ un entrepreneur sur cinq (21%) valorise l'indépendance que leur entreprise leur offre.
