LTL Archive. Jolle. Language and Literacy. Language & Literacy is an online journal for educators interested in a broad range of literacy issues encompassing research and teaching in print, oracy, and multimedia. It is the peer-reviewed journal of the Language and Literacy Researchers of Canada (LLRC) of the Canadian Society for Studies in Education. Normally, two regular issues are published each year (Spring, Fall).
Papers should normally be between 6000-8000 words in length and must include an abstract of approximately 50-100 words. Language and Literacy was founded in 1999 by Ingrid Johnston and Jill McClay of the University of Alberta, and by Rebecca Luce-Kapler and Sylvia Pantaleo of Queens University.
