André Gertler (1907-1998) fut une des personnalité les plus marquantes du siècle dernier.
Tant dans le domaine de l’interprétation que dans celui de l’art d’enseigner, il s’est imposé non sans fermeté. Dans les pages qui suivent, nous analyseront cette personnalité et tenteront d’expliquer l’héritage qu’il a laissé, après nonante ans de dur labeur, au monde d’aujourd’hui. Ce site s’organise en deux parties. Dans la première, le lecteur s'immiscera en témoin dans la vie d’André Gertler, dont seules les périodes explicatives de son oeuvre ont été reprises. Dans la seconde, il entrera dans le vif du sujet, c’est-à-dire l’oeuvre proprement dite du personnage.
