Wait, what happened to release candidate 2? Well, we have been busy working day and night and we actually did two releases this week. The latest build or “RC3″ as we like to call it has now been sent to testers and if any issues are not found in the next couple of days this will be the gold build! Fingers crossed! So, what has happened this week?

Finally, more than a year after the first public release, comes the version 0.2 I would like to thank you for your patience and interest, some people were asking me about the project's status and future, so here it goes. Several weeks ago, a kindly webdesigner and also a fan of MOO2 contacted me and offered his help to create a face for this site. His name is Hans Wojnar and I think he did a very good job!

Just over 10 days ago we made our last release. And today again, we present you with proud the next release of OpenDUNE: 0.6. A day after our last release it became clear to us that there was a critical bug in it, which under certain circumstances (bad-luck situations) could make the game unplayable.
OpenTTD
With OpenTTD 1.2.0-RC1 we present you the first release candidate of the upcoming stable release. This release brings a few nice features like you now can assign speed limits to your surface vehicles. And for NewGRF developers we added a new NewGRF format where a whole bunch of new sprite types may be defined directly via NewGRF: Commonly and previously referred to only as "extra-zoom" OpenTTD now supports sprites for all zoom levels and all colour depths.
