I haven’t posted in a while, but this is blog-worthy material. I’ve recently become familiar with the thinking of University of Maryland physicist, James Gates Jr. Dr. Gates is working on a branch of physics called supersymmetry.Editorial - numéro 43 (hiver 2010-2011) Le premier article de ce numéro concerne l’épreuve de catégorisation appelée « tri libre » utilisée en évaluation sensorielle. L’objectif est de fournir une revue critique des procédures statistiques développées dans ce domaine. Le second article fait un tour d’horizon des procédures statistiques applicables à un type de données de plus en plus fréquent, les données fonctionnelles. On se place dans le contexte concret d’un problème de prévision à partir d’une variable explicative fonctionnelle. Le dernier article fait suite à un article du même auteur publié dans le numéro 31 de la Revue.
