10 Ways to Wear Bangs. I hear women say all the time that they're afraid of getting bangs because they wouldn't be as versatile as their hair sans-bang. I protest. I think they're just as flexible, if not more. Even cosmetology schools offering hair styling courses would agree that bangs are back and that they are very versatile. Here are just 10 ways you can style them. Mixing these 10 ways with other finishes (ponytail, braid, half-ponytail, etc.) would give you more styles than days of the month!

1) Down: I happened to go with a slide-swept bang because my squarish face would look more square with blunt, boxy bangs. 2) Twisted to the side. 3) Blended in: Blowdry them into your normal style instead of down. 4) Twisted back. 5) Headband: Add some volume behind the headband to help it stay in place. Quinoa Salad with Jicama and Pineapple Salsa

It is a great way to vary dishes that typically call for rice. This is a version of a salad that I sometimes eat with brown rice and black beans covered in pico de gallo or salsa. Easy, healthful, good. Here, I added an interesting grain and a colorful and crunchy pineapple and jicama salsa to my standard. I’ve had a fun “play around with my hair” week, and my apologies for not posting any new styles for our 30 Days (that’s spread out through a few months) hair challenge. As a little girl, I can remember my mom doing some simple twist and bobby pin styles on my short, fine hair. When my daughter came home from grandma’s one day last year, her hair contained three vertical twist & pin buns down the middle of her hair, and memories flooded back to that style. I take this Twist and Bobby Pin technique and make all kinds of different styles out of it. I played with high twists, low twists, large and loose twists and tiny, tight twists.

5 Minute No Sew Lace Bow. Hey guys!

5 Minute No Sew Lace Bow

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! My girls and I made some bows today, and I thought it would be a fun time to share one of them with you. They love them, and I wear these all the time as well. They take just about 5 minutes to make. All you need is lace, a clip, and a hot glue gun! These are so simple and cheap to make! I like to use this kind of lace found at Joann’s and other craft stores… It comes in lots of colors! Cut three pieces. Now fold your 7″ pieces to the center like this… A Quick Hair Routine.
