Books are expensive, and even eBooks can cost a pretty penny, especially the newest release. Libraries are fabulous, but oftentimes more popular titles have long waiting lists. Plus, if you’re anything like me, you like to own books to read over and over again! So what’s a frugal bookworm to do? Become a book reviewer, and start receiving Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs) of the newest titles for free! Review the books you read. It took me 14 years of motherhood, but my kids are all finally good enough swimmers that I can leisurely sit in the shade and read while they swim. As a matter of fact my family owns two Kindles now so that the children are not always sneaking away with mine! We don’t own the fancy Kindle Fire that offers color pictures and game apps like many other products on the market, just basic Kindle models for reading. Today I wanted to share the many places online that offer free books in Kindle format to download for your family’s reading pleasure. I’ll also share a bit about how this can be used in homeschooling at the very end – so keep reading!
