Prism

https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Prism Prism is a simple XULRunner-based browser that hosts web applications without the normal web browser user interface. Prism is based on a concept called Site-Specific Browsers (SSB). An SSB is designed to work exclusively with a single web application. It doesn’t have the menus, toolbars and other accoutrements of a traditional web browser. An SSB also offers tighter integration with the operating system and desktop than a typical web application running through a web browser.
[20-Mar-2012] The migration of the PHP source code from Subversion to Git is complete. You can clone or fork the source from our GitHub mirror , and we also now support pull requests made via GitHub. The source is also available via git.php.net , and full instructions on cloning the php-src tree can be found at php.net/git . One immediate benefit is that future PHP release tags will be signed by the PHP development team.

All API methods are accessible via very simple HTTP calls. This is optimized for ease of implementation, so you won’t see any XMLRPC, SOAP, or anything containing the word “enterprise”.
