Rdio. History[edit] Vdio[edit] On April 2, 2013 Rdio launched Vdio, a movie and television show streaming service.
Vdio is set up similarly to Rdio, except it follows a pay-per-view style. The service focuses on newly released titles from major Hollywood studios like Disney, Fox, Warner Bros. and Universal Studios.[7] Current Rdio subscribers were given US$25 in credit to spend on Vdio.[8] Robert Greenwald. Robert Greenwald (born August 28, 1943) is an American television, feature film and documentary filmmaker.
Greenwald is founder and president of Brave New Films (BNF), a "new media company that uses moving images to educate, influence, and empower viewers to take action around issues that matter".[1] He has produced and/or directed more than 65 TV movies, miniseries and films as well as major theatrical releases.[2] His early body of work includes Steal This Movie (2000),[3] starring Vincent D'Onofrio as 60s radical Abbie Hoffman; Breaking Up (1997), starring Russell Crowe and Salma Hayek; The Burning Bed (1984)[3] with Farah Fawcett; and A Woman of Independent Means (1995) with Sally Fields.
