The ornate nature of these Alexander McQueen Fall 2010 – 2011 shoes has me speechless. The Object Fetish by SHOWstudio: Alexander McQueen Fall Winter 2010 – 2011 Shoes video blew me away but I didn’t realize how extensive the ornate shoe collection was. I’d love to see these up close. I’m so curious about the materials used. The heels look like they are made of plastic. http://iwantigot.geekigirl.com/2010/08/17/alexander-mcqueen-fall-2010-2011-shoes/

http://www.maisondesreveries.com/2009/06/vertebrae-hoodie-diy.html One of my favorite things to throw on under a leather vest or jacket is a hoodie - perfect for those days when it's a little chilly out but not cold enough for a coat, or you just want to be a little incognito under your hood. I decided to amp up my go-to AA hoodie with some studs and chains and after seeing the finished result, I've decided it's totally taken on a personality, like the former's bad-ass long lost twin. Plus, giving new life to old basics is really good for my shopping detox. Here's how I did it: What you'll nee d : Grey thread, Needle, Pliers, Scissors, 1/2" cone studs, silver chain, ruler, white chalk pencil or tailor's chalk. Try to use a chain that has links thick enough to thread a needle through.

Heidi and Finn has graciously offered to share a FREE pattern with two lucky readers--more info below! First of all, thanks to all of you who weighed in on the choosing of fabric for Junebug's jacket . The general consensus was to use the mustard fabric as the lining fabric--which I was totally on board with! (Have no fear, the other fabric will be used for an upcoming skirt.) Once the jacket was constructed, I decided to use a hook and eye closure instead of the orange buttons.

Estimated Cost: ~$30-$50 (more if you don't already own the necessary tools) Estimated completion time: 15-20 hours Difficulty: Moderate - Challenging (dependent on skill level) _______________________________________________________________________ I designed this corset for my wife who loves wearing corsets but did not yet own one that would be suitable for a business environment. The end result is a light corset made with a quality suiting material, a slight slimming effect on the waist and loads of back support. This corset is considerably more challenging then my other corset instructable and will require a fair amount of hand sewing. http://www.instructables.com/id/Corset-for-the-Business-Professional/
