She illustrated “The Girl Who was Struck by Lightning,” a quite peculiar short story by Chris Stanton. If there is a literary genre called Backwoods Surreal Noir, this story fits the bill.

His language for his work is really a simple and humorous one that helps him to demonstrate his unique imagination. Chungkong strips the subjects down to their bare bones and brings them to life in vibrant and playful designs, covering a variety of subjects from cult movies, geek art, books and sports.

Minimal movie posters are the pieces of his latest collection each of which has a small illustration conveyed by a simple but condensed message to describe the movie.
