Keisarin visio näyttää mahtiaan uuden suurruhtinaskunnan pääkaupungissa ja Engelin visiot uusklassisesta estetiikasta, ihailimiensa Albertin, Winckelmannin ja Palladion hengessä. Nämä visiot toteutettiin pieneen ja hyiseen, muutaman tuhannen asukkaan pikkukaupunkiin, joka oli palanut pahasti muutamaa vuotta ennen hankkeiden aloittamista.

The Scholarship will be awarded to a student entering in September 2012 to study full time Single Honours BA degrees in Classics , Classical Studies , Ancient History, Latin or Greek , and covers full Home/EU fees for three years of undergraduate study at RHUL (under the new £9,000 fees regime). The award will be offered to an exceptional student. The Lexicon of Greek Personal Names (LGPN) was established to collect and publish all ancient Greek personal names, drawing on the full range of written sources from the 8th century B.C. down to the late Roman Empire. Online facilities: Name Search over 35,000 published names; indexes and bibliographies of LGPN I-VA; LGPN IIA : addenda, corrigenda, name indexes and statistics from revised LGPN II (version April 2007).
