Everyone loves the idea of curling up with a book – but how about within a bookcase ? The Cave is a combination bookcase and lounge chair design that provides a comfortable, cozy and visually secluded place to wrap yourself in your favorite volume and read for a while with a soft overhead light. For children, the bookcase chair provides a nifty crawl space and it can even be a pet retreat. Placed against the wall it becomes a cozy nook and put in the center of a room it becomes a spatial divider with accessibility through its center. While the Cave is a nifty design it is not the only conceptual furniture for combining lounging and book storage :
