The lovely and generous Ez is giving us a free printable teacup template to paint on. Or if you're artistic, you can surely draw your own. Just gather a few different types of tea and steep them individually. More than one teabag per cup will result in a darker hue. Step 1: practice drawing you're pet. Don't intimidate yourself by trying to create a photo-realistic drawing. Focus on your pets most distinctive features and create a cute cartoon version! If you try sketching your pet and aren't feeling great about the results, try tracing a photo. Step 2: gather your supplies. Step 3: Sketch your pet on your canvas with pencil. Step 4: Paint the base colors of your design. Note: Sometimes it helps me to have an inspiration source in my mind when choosing colors or a 'feel' for my paintings. When the idea of a geometic photo collage was tossed around we both got really excited about it! What we love about this project is how personal it can become. I'm thinking of making one with wedding photos for my bedroom... how sweet would that be? Supplies Needed: Poster board (cut slightly larger than the frame you wish to use), glue or double-sided tape, scissors, triangle template to trace (mine was 2.5 inches on each side of the triangle using a ruler), paint swatches in colors you love, vintage book pages, and a few of your favorite photos. 1.
