In the chaos and confusion, an armada of five ships carrying roughly six million humans manages to escape. They are destined for a planet light-years away called Hexos. During the journey, four hundred years pass, and an entire ship is lost to the black of space. My world takes place three-thousand years after the human settlers arrive on Hexos.
