Jailbreak iOS 5 iPhone, iPad, iPod touch Successful [PICTURES] | Redmond Pie
Advertisements Yes you read that right, MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team has posted some pictures on his twitter account, confirming the jailbreak works fine on iOS 5, but of course it is limited to tethered boot only, which means you will have to connect it to your computer on every reboot. According to his initial testing, Cydia appears to be working just fine on his jailbroken 4th-gen iPod touch, he managed to install SSHing utility app called iSSH successfully, which can be seen in one of the screenshots below.

Cette fois-ci, Google aurait violé la licence GPL en intégrant dans son système Android des codes libres sans les redistribuer, ce qui pourrait être très lourd de conséquences... Google n'a pas fini de s'embourber dans des méandres juridiques (notamment avec Oracle, voir cette news ) car il est encore une fois traîné devant les tribunaux par Florian Mueller, un spécialiste des licences libres, pour violation de la licence GNU GPL. La GNU General Public License (GNU étant un acronyme récursif pour Gnu Is Not Unix) est une licence qui fixe les conditions légales de distribution des logiciels libres du projet GNU. Elle définit notamment la notion de Copyleft (jeu de mots anglais avec Copyright à qui elle s'oppose) qui autorise l'utilisateur à avoir accès au code source d'un programme, à le modifier et à le redistribuer sous réserve qu'il soit aussi sous licence GNU GPL (donc modifiable, re-distribuable, etc.).
