Kazuo Hirai, Sony’s upcoming president and CEO, has recently hinted that Vita OS might make an appearance on future Sony phones and tablets. Vita OS is the operating system that powers the Playstation Vita. At a Q&A session with reporters Hirai stated that he doesn’t want people to forget that Vita OS is not just a gaming platform, but has the potential to be a powerful mobile OS as well.

I am not sure if this is really going to be the iPad killer, but Amazon is definitely pricing it right. The Kindle Fire will be a 7-inch Android tablet for 9. The will also offer a free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime which costs per year. Amazon Prime includes streaming video and free two-day shipping. It’s priced right, but let’s face it, it is a very stripped down tablet.

L’initiateur de cette pétition, Miui-france.com, vient de recevoir un mail du constructeur Chinois pour confirmer la distribution prochaine du téléphone en France. Avec l’excellent rapport qualité/prix de l’appareil, cela ne peut être qu’une bonne nouvelle.

I am pleased to announce that the much anticipated ANT API for Android has now been released. The Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X8, Xperia™ X10 mini and Xperia™ X10 mini pro will be among the first commercially available Android phones to support ANT.
