Kasvu Open is hosted by the Growth Enterprise Board of the Central Finland Chamber of Commerce and is now organized for the third time. In Kasvu Open, the participating entrepreneurial teams and the board members (all seasoned entrepreneurs or business professionals) co-create value with invited outside professionals. Besides co-creation across all borders, Kasvu Open builds on a “knowledge investment” culture. Specialisation Objectives Our four-year specialisation in innovation and entrepreneurship is created to support willing and capable candidates to obtain a high quality research education that qualifies for academic careers at leading research institutions or as advanced specialists elsewhere. The programme focuses on developing the candidates’ theoretical and methodological capabilities and skills through careful research practice as well as theoretical studies required to become capable of disciplined and creative new theory creation. The programme seeks highly qualified candidates with background in disciplines that are relevant to studies of innovation and entrepreneurship. We require that all candidates have a sufficient knowledge of business management subjects to enter the programme. 2. The $125 million SSC Radisson Diamond, promoted as the revolutionary cruise ship concept of the 21st century because of her SWATH technology, was recently formally christened in London at week-long festivities.
Ceremonies for the 354- foot, twin-hull luxury ship were held at the Greenwich Buoy on the River Thames. The British, the Danes, and even the Americans have all at one time or another provided their leaders with beautifully appointed yachts that served for both recreational as well as official purposes. But few of these highly specialized ships can compare with the Standart, reserved exclusively for the use of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia This handsome "ship of state" was a graceful seagoing vessel and was considered the most perfect ship of her type in the world. She was named after the famous frigate of Peter the Great. Built to the Tsar's own specifications, she was constructed in Copenhagen in 1895 by the Danish firm Burmeister-Wain, possibly owing to the fact that the Tsar's mother, the Dowager Empress Marie Feodorovna was of Danish birth. Across the North Sea, however, the plans for the former Imperial Yacht can still be found at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, England.
