The complex structure of radiolaria was treated as a two-dimensional representation with a hexagonal pattern. Two points control the deformation of individual cells that make structure through a transformation of vectors connecting the vertices of the single cell with the point. The deformation of the grid can be caused by an attraction or a repulsion generated by attractor points. Investigation on the potentiality of numerical field generated by a source image. The height of one ellipse control point is linked with grayscale value of the image generating parametric variations in the starting flatten pattern.

Last summer, I had the privilege to work with an outstanding group of students and colleagues on the design, detailing, robotic fabrication and construction of the ICD/ITKE Research Pavilion 2011. The project evolved out of ongoing research into biomimetics and robotic fabrication at the Institute for Computational Design (ICD) led by Achim Menges and was realised as part of a studio project in collaboration with our fellow institute for building structures and structural design (ITKE) at the University of Stuttgart. The pavilion was open to the public from end of August to early December 2011 and has since been published in print and on the web, most notably in the January issue of Detail magazine on Timber construction. I Have my component, a rhomboid it has a offset and a fillet to it. I am goint to attach it to a surface, i would however like to add an attractor that affects the offset amount of the component relative to the attractors position, for example the suns path affect the componets offset openings allowing me to argue the benifits of an intelligent facade system.
