What Ofsted liked most about us - Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities make rapid progress due to the accurate observations, assessments and strong partnerships with other professionals- Children behave well in the nursery because staff respond well to them and encourage good behaviour- Children transfer smoothly to the next stage in their learning because of the successful relationships between the rooms and the linked school- The knowledgeable staff continually update their skills for the benefit of the children- Staff use effective self-evaluation to focus on further improvements, which benefit’s the children’s welfare learning and development.

At Furze, our family-friendly setting is warm and welcoming, and a real part of the local community.
One thing parents like most about us is the high standard of exciting and interesting activities – both inside the nursery and outdoors. We currently care for up to 52 children, from birth to 5 years, at any one time. Based in Barking & Dagenham, we are easy to find – only 10 minutes’ walk from Chadwell Heath station – and are open from 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks/year.
