ISKO UK Conference 2011

http://www.iskouk.org/conf2011/ The theme “Facets of Knowledge Organization” and the memory of Brian C Vickery stimulated 117 people to attend ISKO-UK’s second biennial conference, held on 4-5 July 2011. The 28 presentations and 6 posters picked up many threads of Vickery’s prolific legacy, woven together in an illustration of networking at its most productive. The Programme page on this website has links to downloadable files for each of the presentations, including abstracts, PowerPoint files, audio recordings and for many items a full paper. The Proceedings have also been published by Emerald Books, as an attractive hardbound volume incorporating reprints of some of Vickery’s key writings and a comprehensive bibliography.
