Professor Ayşe Göker, an academic at City University London and an entrepreneur who developed innovative mobile applications as co-founder of AmbieSense, has accepted to deliver the plenary speech at the 15th International Conference on Electronic Publishing, to be held from June 22-24, 2011, in Kadir Has University, Istanbul, Turkey. In her keynote speech, entitled “ Information in Context: The Mobile Environment “, Professor Göker will talk about the digital publishing in the mobile environment and discuss the distinctive nature of mobile search and retrieval including not only the location but also the context in which mobile users are engaged such as task in hand, environment, device, individual interests and social aspects.

The 2011 conference brought together 500 delegates from over 40 countries to debate and discuss the latest innovations and emerging trends for information professionals.
