shellinabox - Project Hosting on Google Code

This emulator is accessible to any JavaScript and CSS enabled web browser and does not require any additional browser plugins. Most typically, login shells would be exported this way: shellinaboxd -s /:LOGIN This command starts a web server at that allows users to login with their username and password and to get access to their login shell. All client-server communications are encrypted, if SSL/TLS certificates have been installed.

More details are available in the manual page. Demo As a demonstration of the terminal emulator's capabilities, we have connected it to a minimal BASIC interpreter. The BASIC interpreter is a work-in-progress. Anyterm - Installation - 1.1 Branch. 1.

Anyterm - Installation - 1.1 Branch

Prerequisites Anyterm has been known to work with various Linux distributions, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and Mac OS X. Development is on Debian GNU/Linux, so if you use a different system you might need to do things a bit differently. If you find any significant differences please let me know and I will add a note to this page. Searching the forum for the name of your operating system or distribution is also recommened. Anyterm uses some of the Boost C++ libraries, but it currently only needs their header files at compile time; it doesn't actually link with any of the libraries at run-time. A dependency on zlib, i.e.

You need g++, the GNU C++ compiler. You need GNU Make. 2. See the download page for instructions on downloading and unpacking the Anyterm source code. MediaTomb - Free UPnP MediaServer. QEMU. Most of the source code is under a Berkeley-style license. The distribution includes the full UNIX Version 7 operating system, with source code, pre-built binaries, man pages, and original Version 7 documentation. Also included are a custom UNIX-style x86 assembler, an ACK-based C compiler, and several key early UCB software components such as the C shell, the editors ex and vi, and the pager more. Please review copyright & license information. There is also an installation overview. You can download the release from the download page. V7/x86 is also downloadable as a virtual machine and this is probably the easiest way to take a look at it. A stripped down demo version of V7/x86, suitable for trying out under a PC emulator, is also available. Caution: This is an x86 port of classic software that was first released during the late 1970s and early 1980s. FabFORCE.net. High Priority Free Software Projects - Free Software Foundation. Skype is a proprietary Voice-over-IP program that uses a proprietary protocol.

Skype is seducing free software users into using proprietary software, often two users at a time. Using proprietary phone software means that we can't be sure who is listening in, because we can't see the code. The Chinese government, for example, was found to have been spying on Skype conversations already, and they are probably not the only ones. We do not want to encourage the creation of a Skype compatible client, but instead, we want to encourage you to create, contribute to, or promote the use of free software replacements for Skype, such as Ekiga, and to encourage adoption and use of free VoIP, video, and chat protocols such as SIP and XMPP/Jingle.

Ways to help. Not a developer? Everyone can track progress and stay up to date with replacements for Skype on the LibrePlanet wiki.
